Get away from it all in the beautiful northern Bakersfield countryside. Enjoy our rural atmosphere, just 8 short miles north of downtown Bakersfield and surrounded by an apple orchard. We are located in the San Joaquin Valley amongst the nation's most fertile farmland. Grapes, almonds, apples, carrots, cotton, pistachio, peaches, plums, walnuts and roses are all grown at nearby farms.
In addition, you will find golf courses, museums, nightly entertainment, Yosemite & Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks, nature preserves, whitewater rafting, and lots of shopping. See our area attractions page for a full list of things to do.

Bakersfield RV Park offers a swimming pool that is open from around April 1st until the end of October (weather permitting). Other amenities include:

Bakersfield RV Park Sites
Park your RV under shade trees on spacious grass sites. We offer large, level pull thrus up to 65 feet in length and most of them have shade trees. 50 amp service sites are available and we are adding more all the time.

Bakersfield Tent Campground
Our beautiful tent campground is shaded by large trees. We cannot allow firewood burning because of the San Joaquin Valley Clean Air Laws, but we do sell briquettes and have barbeques available at the tent campground sites.

Bakersfield Cabins
For folks who don't have an RV or tent, but would like to enjoy a Bakersfield camping experience, our rustic cabins are just the thing! The cabins offer sleeping accommodations for four with a bunk bed for the kids and a double bed for adults. Relax in a swing on the porch, all nestled in the trees. The cabins do not have electricity or plumbing, so they are best for camping in the spring thru fall. Please bring your own bedding.

Planning a group camping getaway? At Bakersfield RV Park, you can customize your reservation to accommodate different types of camping equipment, so we have some spaces where you can mix RVs with tents.
